PROJECT DESCRIPTION:   This project involved the project management, design, implementation and commissioning of the station plant HMI SCADA system at Bayswater Power Station.  Working closely with Citect's engineering department, Provecta staff were responsible for all aspects of the project which involved the installation of a plant wide Citect network and modifications to PLC controls to suit the new HMI interface.  The project included the installation of 22 Citect Operator consoles (650 graphic pages), communicating via 15km of Fibre Optic Ethernet network to over 60 PLC's and the client's corporate LAN for managerial reporting and information. 

Since the project completion, Provecta staff have continued to develop the system to provide enhance reporting, upgrades to the latest versions of Citect SCADA, expanding the system to include additional plant areas, and provide a support service to the plant engineers.
