PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Burrinjuck Power Station: Provecta has investigated and recommended enhancements for the control and HMI systems at Burrinjuck Power Station.  This has included a review of the process control IT security systems and the provision of recommendations for enhancements to achieve compliance with industry standards.  

The work also involved the review the implemented control system logic and provide documentation in the form of detailed functional descriptions and block diagrams to enable a complete understanding of the logic by operating staff.

Under a separate order Provecta has also been engaged to provide ongoing support services for the installed Citect HMI systems at Burrinjuck. 

Hydro Power Station Control Center: As a result of successful completion of the above project Provecta have been engaged as owners engineer for Eraring Energy in their project to centralise control of all their wind and hydro generating assets. This project involves the provision of technical expertise associated with the control system network desigh, specification development, project management and HMI design.
