This document sets out the practices of Provecta Process Automation Pty Ltd ("PROVECTA") in relation to the handling of personal information collected from visitors to the PROVECTA website.

PROVECTA respects the privacy rights of all individuals visiting the PROVECTA website and is committed to collecting and storing personal information in an ethical and appropriate manner.
Furthermore, PROVECTA is committed to ensuring that all PROVECTA directors, officers, employees and agents comply at all times with PROVECTA policies and obligations under privacy legislation currently in force in Australia . PROVECTA has adopted the National Privacy Principles (‘the Principles') contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) of the Commonwealth Government of Australia for the purposes of developing these policies.

What information do we collect?
When you look at this web site, PROVECTA makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical and web development purposes:

Access to information collected
PROVECTA will not make an attempt to identify users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our log files.
Use of information collected
We will only record your e-mail address if you send us a message. Your e-mail address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to a mailing list or used for any other purpose without your consent.
Information will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where it is provided to a contractor or supplier for the purposes of undertaking services which are required for the ordinary administration of the PROVECTA business.
This site does not provide facilities for the secure transmission of information across the Internet. Users should be aware that there are inherent risks transmitting information across the Internet.

Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to your computer's hard disk for record-keeping purposes. PROVECTA does not currently use cookies on our web site.
Storage and security of your personal information
PROVECTA will use reasonable endeavours to keep secure any information which we hold about you, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. Information will be kept until it is out of date or no longer required, at which time it will be destroyed or de-identified.
Access to the information we keep about you
All personal information kept about you is available at any time via direct email request. To access your information, send an email to privacy@provecta.com.au with details of your request.

This privacy policy only applies to the PROVECTA web site. PROVECTA is not responsible for the privacy practices of organisations linked to the PROVECTA website. Before disclosing your personal information on any other website, we suggest you examine the terms and conditions of use.

PROVECTA reserves the right to amend its privacy policy at any time for any reason. An updated version of the policy will be posted on the website.
